Native Women’s Resource Centre of Toronto: Supporting Indigenous Women and Their Children

The Krawczyk Family Foundation is proud to support the Native Women’s Resource Centre of Toronto (NWRCT) to provide a safe and welcoming environment for Aboriginal women and their children in the Greater Toronto Area. The Centre builds self-sufficiency and develops collective capacity to make positive change through one-on-one support, group programming, and cultural initiatives.

NWRCT is guided by women’s work and the Seven Sacred Teachings: Wisdom, Love, Respect, Bravery, Honesty, Humility, and Truth. These teachings, traditions, and cultures inform all of NWRCT’s activities and programs to support families, advocacy, employment, education, and youth.

Native Women’s Resource Centre of Toronto also hosts a variety of Cultural Activities for our clients and the public, including the annual Minaake Awards, Sisters In Spirit Vigil, and Winter Solstice.
